    What is The Monthly Vinyl Prescription?

    + What is the Monthly Vinyl Prescription all about?
    The goal of this record club is to get new & exciting music (that you may not have heard before) onto your turntable and of course give you that warm & fuzzy feeling that only vinyl can provide. We are constantly on the hunt for fresh sounds as well as instant classics from a myriad of genres. For us it's an obsession, digging at local record shows, chasing down bands at dive bars, and scouring the digital universe for analog gold. 
    + What is the Flex-Rx option?
    At Prescribed Vinyl we are all about selecting high quality albums that will add depth and interest to your record shelf, but we're also about choice. We realize that you may not be completely in love with our monthly selection and that's why we've added the Flex-Rx option to all our prescriptions. If for any reason you want to replace our current month's selection with any in-stock LP (under $27) you can do so by emailing us at service@prescribedvinyl.com or log in into your account before we process the prescriptions on the last day of the month.
    + When do I get charged for my monthly prescription?
    When you sign up initially for the monthly prescription, you instantly become a member and your credit card is charged. We pack and ship your vinyl prescription between the 15th and the last day of the month.
    + When does my monthly prescription ship?
    We process and ship all monthly prescriptions between the 15th and the last day of the month and based on your location it should arrive at your door within 5 to 7 days.
    + When do you let members know what's coming next?
    We send out an email blast during the first week of each month detailing that month's selection and allowing you to get more info on the artist, listen to tracks from the album and salivate over a few videos. You will then have until the 15th of the month to hold your peace or let us know if you want to switch up the current selection for a different LP, please see "What is the Flex-Rx option?" above.
    + Can I add more vinyl to my monthly prescription?
    Hells yeah, you can either email us at service@prescribedvinyl.com or log in to your account to add as many LP's or 45's to your current monthly prescription as you wish, we'll charge you for the total cost of the vinyl and waive the shipping fees (domestic orders only of course).
    + Do you offer gift options or multi-month package deals?
    We sure do! Currently we offer 3, 6, and 12 month packages designed to save you a few bucks and make great gifts. You can either indulge for yourself or give the gift of vinyl to a friend. If it is a gift, be sure to add their email address, and their shipping address when checking out so we can make sure they get the vinyl delivered to their door and receive an email notification with the USPS tracking info. We also allow you to add a gift message that we will print out and include in their first prescription!

    Boring Yet Essential Shipping & Returns Questions

    + Do you offer free shipping?
    Yes, we offer free shipping for domestic orders of $75 or more!
    + What options do I have to get my record shipped within the US?
    We exclusively use the United States Postal Service (USPS) for domestic shipping within the continental US. Currently we are offering Media Mail option that can take between 3-7 days for delivery and Priority Mail that usually takes 2-3 days for delivery. If we receive your order before 2pm, we will most likely ship it that day, otherwise it will be processed and shipped on the following day.
    + Do you ship internationally?
    Unfortunately, we do not currently ship internationally.
    + Do you allow returns?
    All sales of new records are final as we can't resell them as new once you have opened them up and taken them for a spin on the turntable, but if you absolutely need to return/exchange your vinyl contact us and we will make it right.
    + What if my vinyl is defective or damaged?
    If there is an issue with a defective or damaged record we can work with you on a case by case basis and get you a new copy or a refund, please don't hesitate to contact us if something arrives busted or out of whack.
